Quiet Life

I choose to live a quiet life. Not quiet as in I won’t talk to anybody or I don’t want anybody talking to me. Though sometimes I do need to be in a still place absent of the vibration of vocals. When I say quiet I mean reflective, introspective, and meditative. I choose to calm the atmosphere around me and be delicate with my spirit. I shut out the ills of this chaotic world and make my head a sanctuary. I’m available for the promptings of that small but powerful and loving voice on the inside of me. I want the Holy Spirit to be comfortable and at home within me. I want the cool, quiet calm of God’s presence.
